You were my best friend and the first friend I ever had. You were my first experience with both love and loss. You showed me the beauty behind life, love and the pain we must go through to experience every wonderful thing that the world has to offer. You taught me to appreciate what I have in the moment because tomorrow is never promised. I was asleep when you passed and I've seen you in my dreams ever since.

You'll always be my boy. It was a privelege to know you and to feel your love, even if my memories of you are glimpses and flashes, the feelings you gave me are still there. It's as if you only passed yesterday.
